Information we handle

Account information. If you sign in, we receive account identifiers and the profile information made available by Apple or Google, such as your name and email address. We use sign-in credentials and session information to authenticate your account.

Practice information. The app stores practice and separate ambient-listening records, observed duration, dates and time zones, saved practices, preferences and onboarding choices on your device. If you choose account sync, supported account records are also sent to our service. Turning off sync does not delete records already stored on our service or on another device.

Downloads and access. The app stores downloaded media and file metadata. Member access uses purchase-related identifiers and access records; offline permissions are linked to the account or guest profile, installation and particular downloaded edition.

Purchases in test builds. When purchase testing is enabled, Apple or Google processes the transaction. RevenueCat and our service handle purchase identifiers and entitlement information to check and restore access. We do not receive your full payment-card number from the app stores.

Support and technical information. When you email us, we receive your address, message and any attachments you choose to send. Hosting and service providers process connection information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and secure the website and app services.

Why we use it

We use this information to provide the app, authenticate accounts, sync records when requested, deliver media, verify access, respond to requests, troubleshoot problems and prevent misuse. Please do not send medical records or other sensitive material in a support request.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts the website and app services. Apple and Google provide sign-in and app-store services. RevenueCat supports purchase verification where purchase testing is enabled. Our email service processes support correspondence. Providers may process information in countries other than your own under their service arrangements and applicable safeguards.

We may also disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect people, secure the service or resolve a legal claim. Content-generation services used to prepare recordings do not receive your practice history through the app.

This website

This is a static information website. We have not added advertising trackers, analytics scripts or an account login to it. Opening an email link uses your own email application; no message is sent until you choose to send it.

Storage and deletion

Account information and synced records remain available while the account is active unless removed through the app’s controls. You can request account and associated data deletion. Deletion removes account profile, authentication records, synced practice and listening data, and account-to-billing mappings from the active service. The app also clears the deleted account’s local records, downloads and permissions when its deletion cleanup runs.

Minimal internal identifiers and deletion receipts are retained to prevent old sync records from recreating a deleted account. They do not contain your practice history. Provider cleanup can be retried separately. Store transaction records remain subject to Apple’s or Google’s requirements; account deletion does not cancel subscriptions. Copies you exported, a separate guest profile and records on an offline device are not automatically erased by a server request.

Support correspondence, security records and any backup copies may remain where needed to resolve the request, maintain security or meet legal obligations. We do not promise immediate removal from every provider or backup. Contact us for the retention details that apply to your test account or request; final production retention and backup schedules will be published before public release.

Your controls

You can choose whether to sign in or sync, change device reminders, remove downloads and request access, correction or deletion of your information. A recent sign-in or another proportionate identity check may be needed to protect your account. You may also have rights under the law where you live, including contacting your local privacy authority.

Children

Unhurried’s current testing programme is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
